We are delighted to share part of the 1971 “Egyptian Collection” by Napier. The designs of the ’70s were fabulous and texture was an important part of this collection. This collection is one of the most desirable from the 1970s. The faux stones came in either faux jade or faux lapis. Non-Napier copied pieces have been seen with a faux coral stone.
A special note about designer attribution. Both Eugene Bertolli and Francis Fujio were involved in the designing of this collection. Without direct communication or as noted in the book, a designer should not be specified.
