A lovely example of c. 1950s tailored sterling ribbon pin. The circular trademark plaque with the same size font on both lines was typical of the early 1950s pieces. After 1955, all sterling jewelry was marked with a copyright symbol on the trademark plaque or embossed mark. The was one of the few trademarking “rules” by the company sans the ongoing policy that ALL Napier jewelry was to be marked with the Napier trademark. I hope that makes sense. :)
