Napier 1940s sterling earrings

Atypical 1940s Napier Earring Design

An unusual design from The Napier Co.’s typical Art Moderne or modernist styles of the 1940s. Herewith is a pair of dainty sterling peacock clip-back earrings. We date these to the late-1940s as the company’s usage of yellow-gold dominated its vermeil pieces. Notice the small clip-back finding. #napierjewelry #napierbook #jewelryhistory #napier1940s #1940svintage #napiersterling
