This lovely hand-wrought 1972 curled pendant necklace is a must-have for any Napier collector. The design showcases hammered flat irregular volutes of a single piece of heavy gauge wire joined together at the base of coil to form an inverted tear-drop shape. The necklace was featured in The Napier Co. 1972 “Napier Is” campaign. Featured text read, “Napier Is Curlier.” Although reported to be a Francis Fujio design, that is not correct. The designer contributed the ad for the Napier book.
