Napier presented a series of egg-related brooches during the 1960s. This was one of the more tailored pieces for the line. The brooch features open-metal-work of undulating wire-work flanked by a filigree band. The center filigree stamping (band) is from the stampings used in the late 1910-1920s. This is a testament to Napier’s commitment and creativity to incorporate parts of its historic archive into the fashionable pieces of the time.
