This brooch is a beautiful example of Napier’s hand-formed wire sculpture pieces. Designs such as this were complex and hard to execute. The pin is a stylized floral sculpture of twisted gilt wire adorned with wired pearls. The piece is very three-dimensional. The twisted wire captures the light most magnificently.
