Discovery of King Tutankhamun’s tomb was a great source of inspiration for the costume jewelry industry in the 1920s.

This is one of our favorite pieces. The colors are delicious and the design is oh so wearable! The 1955 “Clustered Stones” collection, was marketed as “The Ultimate in jeweled originality.” The design employed glass beads (Chanel-like shades), faux pearls, polished spheres and cobra chains. It resembles some of the exquisite French pieces by Louis Rousselet.
