The Napier Bank

The Napier Bank
One item that was particularly popular in the Napier line was children’s banks. For decades, the company designed and manufactured banks. They ranged from pigs made by the thousands to limited-edition sterling ducks and everything in between-including musical banks. As a collector, it’s fun to discover all the variations that Napier produced.

Here we show an embellished musical clown bank.

The original, designed by Warren Dontigney, came with either a red, blue, or pink nose. Some were adorned with jewels, and all came in either silver or gold-plate finish.
