The Napier Book Publishing Updates

We’ve been away for a bit as we work on wrapping up getting the final files ready for the printer. I’m happy to say we passed our first “file quality” test, and gave approval for the preliminary print color test.

Mark and I also made an extremely difficult, scary, yet critical decision, to have a more EXPENSIVE paper and spot treatment applied to the images to make the jewelry pop! I only mention this because it means we need to sell more books! Quality is imperative, and that’s what we want to deliver. This will not be your ordinary picture book, but rather in the genre of an art book.

We have approximately 50 books left at the sale price that we originally needed and committed to, and then the remaining books will go up to full-retail, which at this point (due to our increase in cost) will be somewhere from $139 to $149.
